The font called Garagum was developed by Belli Creative experts.

For the first time in history, Monotype launched a font for sale that was created in Turkmenistan. The font is sold on the company's Myfonts platform. This was reported by the Business Turkmenistan news agency.

As noted, this font was developed by Belli Creative experts, which has been working in the branding and graphics industry since 2014. The font is called Garagum.

It includes 238 glyphs, 13 alternative letters, and several technical characteristics of ligatures, including diacritics, which are necessary for writing not only in the Turkmen language but also in most Western European languages.

According to the information, it took specialists about four months to create the font.

Note that Monotype was founded in 1887. It owns the rights to such famous fonts as Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Times New Roman, and others.
